VIGO is recruiting a full-time Principal BMS Engineer for a thriving client in the Smart Buildings sector within the South West / Bristol region. Role Overview
In this key role, you’ll take charge of delivering top-notch service to our customers, exceeding contractual obligations, and driving innovation within the BMS industry. The position demands a hands-on approach, including field service in addition to promoting customer satisfaction. We are searching for candidates who are passionate about technology and innovation, and who can work independently whilst dedicated to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking full ownership and leading your customer base
- Meeting and exceeding specifically tailored contractual requirements
- Working closely with customers to identify and resolve operational issues
- Providing detailed and accurate service visit reports
- Working collaboratively with account management and administration teams
- Proactively identifying solutions for improvements, energy savings, upgrades or repairs
- Identifying energy and enhancement projects and opportunities
- Participating in the team call out rota and providing support to other team members as necessary
- Actively engaging in continuous professional development activities through relevant training opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
- Possesses BMS engineering experience with primary knowledge of Trend, Tridium or EcoStruxure, and other legacy systems
- Has experience in a field service environment with a track record of excellent customer service
- Is able to work independently without supervision
- Shows a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Demonstrates a flexible and self-motivated approach to work
- Holds a full driving licence
