This opportunity sits within a dedicated Major Projects team responsible for delivering complex BMS installations across flagship commercial developments throughout Central London. Role Overview
As BMS Project Manager, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of major BMS projects from internal handover through commissioning and final completion. You’ll coordinate engineers, subcontractors, consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved whilst maintaining strong commercial performance. This role offers exposure to larger, more technically complex projects than many traditional BMS delivery roles, with the support of an experienced project delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of major BMS projects from handover through to completion
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and project stakeholders
- Lead project planning, programme management and resource coordination
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and commissioning teams throughout delivery
- Ensure projects comply with Health & Safety, quality and company procedures
- Maintain high standards of delivery whilst managing multiple project priorities
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience delivering BMS projects as a Project Manager
- Strong understanding of Building Management Systems and M&E project delivery
- Experience managing commercial performance, programmes and project budgets
- Able to interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and MEP documentation
- Knowledge of platforms such as Trend, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Tridium or Distech would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
