VIGO is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable and experienced BMS Engineer for a contract role based in London. The position is a 6-12 month contract with a competitive daily rate of £320-£380 depending on experience.
Role Overview
As an integral part of the client’s dynamic team, you will maintain, upgrade and optimise BMS installations across client sites, guiding the project team and stakeholders through the lifecycle to ensure solutions are engineered to specification, delivered on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive BMS hardware and software installations, commissioning and maintenance.
- Manage fault diagnosis procedures and execute solutions.
- Be actively involved in new project kick‑off meetings.
- Generate thorough and accurate controls system design documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical support and advice.
Ideal Candidate and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Trend/Tridium systems is mandatory.
- Extensive BMS/BEMS engineering experience.
- Excellent customer service, project management and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a results‑driven mentality.
- Commutable distance to London and surrounding areas.
