This role takes centre stage in a high‑performing Special Projects division, an agile business unit dedicated to data centres and pharmaceutical verticals, and is instrumental in the successful delivery of major EU projects. As the Operations Manager, you will be the engine room of project delivery, renowned for your ability to promote quality, observe health & safety policy, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the Special Projects team and working in tandem with senior leadership. Your responsibilities include maintaining cost management of allocated projects, cooperating closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring complete documentation compliance following company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of Project Managers and Engineers
- Facilitate full cost management of allocated projects
- Ensure Compliance With Company And H&S Requirements
- Attend site progress, handover meetings and produce weekly project reports
- Submit project variations and interim applications for payment
- Maintain project files in line with quality management procedures
- Prepare monthly revenue forecast and cost‑to‑complete reports
- Manage import and export of project‑specific goods
- Oversee labour forecasting and manage project resources
- Evaluate, review, and report the performance of subcontractors
- Ensure completion and proper storage of O&M manuals and related documentation
