VIGO has proudly partnered with one of the country’s Leading BMS businesses. We are looking for an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee the delivery of cutting‑edge BMS projects, including high‑profile installations and upgrades, whilst driving quality and innovation in the industry.
Role Overview
As the Project Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the delivery of Building Management System projects from initial client meetings, right through to commissioning and handover. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate engineering teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest technical standards.
Your Mission
- Lead the full lifecycle of BMS projects from sales handover to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee project scope, timelines, and deliverables, proactively addressing any deviations or obstacles.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee installation, commissioning, and testing activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Work with sales, engineering, and service teams to identify upselling, upgrades, or additional service opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all work adheres to statutory and company Health & Safety regulations and that all relevant information is communicated, understood, and followed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience managing BMS projects is desirable.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and building automation.
- Familiarity with Trend, Tridium, or EcoStruxure product ranges.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and decision‑making skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality results.
