Corporate Receptionist/Security Officer

Vigilant Security is seeking a Receptionist/Security Officer to join our expanding team at a corporate client in Harrow. The role is Monday to Friday, 09:00 am – 17:00 hrs. The post holder must hold an SIA licence and an SIA CCTV licence.

Location: Harrow | Start: January | Salary: £13.85 p/h (increasing in April) | Training: Provided | Uniform: Supplied | Parking: Free onsite | Overtime: Available per business needs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide a prompt, polite and warm welcome to all visitors.
• Anticipate clients\’ needs and ensure expectations are met every day.
• Maintain a visible, customer‑focused presence.
• Deliver consistent professional service at all times.
• Communicate visitor/client arrivals to the relevant person promptly.
• Maintain high security awareness at all times.
• Undertake patrols and inspections as directed.
• Use communications equipment proficiently; strong communication skills required.
• Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to.
• Prevent unauthorised persons from entering prohibited areas.
• Issue visitor passes following agreed procedures.
• Maintain accurate incident records.
