Vigilant Security is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor - Mobile Officer located in Edinburgh. The officer will be responsible for servicing a number of sites in Edinburgh. This job requires you to drive a client vehicle when required.
Scope:
- Location: Edinburgh
- Contract: Permanent
- Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Pay Rate: £17.20 p/h
- SIA Licence and Driving License is required.
The officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at various prestigious sites, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks
- To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
- Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
- Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
- Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
- Assist staff and visitors to the sites.
- Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
- Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
- In addition to these functions, employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
Key Accountabilities Mobile Team/Keyholding:
- Ensure the company vehicle is road worthy at all times (Daily Vehicle Checks).
- Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
- Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
- Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur using the appropriate reporting procedure.
- Unlock / lock up client’s premises in line with the Assignment Instructions and client’s procedures.
- Ensure all relevant information is passed over on handover.
- Complete schedules to record site visits.
- Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
- Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.
Personal Specification:
- Current SIA license.
- Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years).
- Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Smart and confident.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good I.T Skills, use of Samsung Tablet.
- Customer/client awareness.
