Due to continued growth, we are looking for professional and motivated Security Officers to join our team at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). This is a casual contract with regular opportunities for overtime and career progression. Vigilant Security delivers a wide range of services including manned guarding, mobile patrols, and keyholding.

The Role

As a Security Officer, you will provide a visible, responsive, and professional security presence at a prestigious venue in the heart of Edinburgh. Your duties will vary depending on the event and may include:

  • Front-of-house and reception duties
  • Access control and visitor management
  • Signing contractors and vendors in and out
  • General monitoring of the premises and event spaces

You will be working across a diverse calendar of events - from evening banquets to high-profile daytime conferences - with flexible shifts available to suit your schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Ability to provide five years of checkable work or education history

  • Full UK driving licence
