Vigilant Security are seeking an experienced, professional, and polished Corporate Front of House Host Receptionist with extensive customer service knowledge who can provide a warm and friendly welcome at the Front of House Reception, within a prestigious building in the Aldgate area. An SIA Licence is required for this role.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors and occupiers to the building and will provide a welcoming and efficient front of house experience through proactive lobby hosting, building and maintaining positive relationships and addressing any queries or concerns promptly. The role will also consist of but will not be limited to:
- Accurate visitor management using the building software platform
- Coordination with security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the building
- General administrative support including management of correspondence, reviews of operating procedures and the occupier experience
- Regular client liaison to ensure our delivery is aligned to their expectations
The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis upon completion of your 6-month probationary period. Hours of work are 08:00-18:00, Monday to Friday; however, the successful candidate will require a flexible approach to ensure that the operational needs of the business are met. Salary £13.85 per hour rising to £14.80 per hour from the 1st April. Holiday entitlement of 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that a high level of guest experience is always delivered
- Ensure that an exceptional standard is consistently maintained
- Conduct team toolbox talks and briefings, including One-Team approach cross-training
- Attend and participate in weekly site team meetings
- Take ownership of the reception in its entirety, health & safety, defects reporting, presentation standards and promoting ideas to enhance the guest experience
- First point of contact for occupier services, which will include service requests reactive and non-reactive
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to attend training, including health & safety and compliance
- Complete weekly client reports
- Rota management
- Mentor and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with site procedures and oversee implementation
- Inductions, training, and development of relief staff
- Develop, build, and strengthen client relationships
- Report regularly to the Building/Facilities Manager and escalate any issues accordingly
- Ensure consistent growth in developing client add-on revenue and pipeline streams
- You will have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
