Overview
As a Corporate Sales Executive at ViewSonic, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development of our LCD product category (and potentially IFP/CD products) within the UK through a two tier channel model. This role encompasses a blend of direct field visits, proactive telesales outreach, and homebased working. You will act as a brand ambassador for ViewSonic, generating excitement within the customer base, cultivating new business opportunities, and expanding breadth/unmanaged accounts, while also managing existing reseller relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain productive, professional, and influential relationships with distribution partners, resellers, and end users. Manage an assigned client base while actively seeking opportunities for new business.
- Business Development: Actively develop the breadth (unmanaged) customer base through structured telesales campaigns and prospecting activities. Conduct regular telesales outreach to engage prospect accounts and increase market share. Perform targeted site visits to key resellers and prospect accounts, complementing telesales efforts to deepen customer relationships.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Product Team (BLM) to drive sales of LCD products through distributors, resellers, and e-tailers. Manage day to day relationships with distribution partners, including forecasting, stock planning, and promotional activities. Monitor competitive market activity and provide value propositions, objection handling, and competitive positioning support. Analyse sales forecasts, POS reports, and marketing data to achieve or exceed sales targets. Implement sales incentives, initiatives, and defined marketing strategies.
- Collaboration and Events: Work closely with UK Sales, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align product availability and strategy with market needs. Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, and participate in distributor and reseller promotional events.
- Communication & Liaison: Maintain regular, structured contact with clients via a blend of site visits, telephone/video calls, and email communications. Provide prompt, efficient, and professional responses to customer inquiries and demands. Deliver sales and product training to customers as required. Communicate current and future product information and pricing details to clients. Obtain and report on customer stock levels, sales data, and sales forecasts. Share market intelligence and competitor insights to assist in product development and strategy. Ensure close collaboration with internal sales colleagues to maintain a cohesive and unified market approach. Support ViewSonic’s brand image through excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Hybrid Working Structure
Primarily home-based, with regular travel for face-to-face customer meetings, site visits, and industry events. Telesales activities conducted from a home office to maximize reach across breadth accounts. Approximately 2–3 days per week dedicated to telesales, reporting, and internal collaboration, and 1–2 days for customer site visits or in-person meetings, depending on business needs.
Other Responsibilities
Control costs within your area of responsibility. Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by the company.
