Overview
We are currently looking for freelance key safe and alarm fitters to carry out local installations in their spare time.
Responsibilities
- Carry out local installations of key safes and alarms as required.
- Supply and install standard components (for key safes, the Standard Masterlock 5401D where applicable).
- Fit one smoke alarm and one heat alarm per assignment where required.
- Travel within the radius you specify when signing up, accepting appointments within that radius.
Qualifications and eligibility
- Have relevant experience and equipment, be punctual and reliable, and comfortable working alone.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.
- Provide proof of Public Liability Insurance with at least £1 million cover.
Compensation and benefits
- Payment is offered per appointment and shown on the invitation; you may accept, reject or counteroffer as you see fit.
- For key safe installations, the safe to be installed will usually be the Standard Masterlock 5401D which we ask fitters to supply and install. For this service, payment is £48 (plus VAT if registered) to include supply.
- For fitting one smoke and one heat alarm, payment is £68 (plus VAT if registered) to include supply.
- Viewber is nationwide, enabling opportunities across the U.K.
