The Sagility team is currently hiring a Director of Procurement. In this role you will define and implement the procurement strategy and policy in line with the business environment and requirements of the company.

Education: A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.

Experience: Proven experience (10 plus years) in procurement or supply chain roles, with a track record of successful vendor management. Procurement experience in the contact center industry setting is a strong plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing the organization's procurement strategy, aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including identifying potential suppliers, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality products, services, and on-time delivery.
  • Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations, review contract terms, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and procurement practices to enhance cost efficiencies.
  • Procurement Process Management: Streamline procurement processes and standardize procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess procurement risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare procurement performance metrics, data-driven insights, and reports for senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Influencing - Decisions made in this position are critical to the effectiveness of indirect expense management of the BU.
  • Proven experience in managing complex internal and external partnerships for outsourced and insourced services change management projects.
  • The candidate shall master sourcing and procurement processes (Source to Settle, Procure to Pay, and Supplier management process).
  • An ideal candidate has leadership experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
  • Experience in procurement of a broad range of categories.
  • Advanced ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and ability to effectively use software such as SAP, Ariba, and Workday.
