As our next Sales Operations Lead, you will own the operational infrastructure that powers Checkatrade's trade acquisition and activation engine. This isnât a traditional Sales Ops role - Sales Ops at Checkatrade sits at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Finance, and Product, ensuring every team involved in generating revenue is aligned, data-informed, and operationally excellent.
Youâll shape how we attract, qualify, convert, onboard, and upgrade tradespeople across our membership tiers and new products. SalesOps at a two-sided marketplace is different â youâll be optimising the supply side, balancing acquisition volume with quality, and supporting a sales team that sells to tradespeople who are simultaneously our product and our customers. This is a handsâon, high-impact role with a direct line of sight to revenue outcomes and a seat at the table in commercial planning.

What weâre looking for:
- Breadth of experience in RevOps/SalesOps, Consulting or a similar strategic operational role
- Strong Salesforce proficiency â comfortable building reports, dashboards, and flows, with a good understanding of declarative capabilities and data architecture
- SQL or equivalent data querying skills â able to self-serve data beyond pre-built reports
- An analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into actionable, commercial recommendations
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) for defining metrics frameworks and building self-serve reporting
- Experience designing and documenting sales or revenue processes end-to-end
