At Checkatrade, we help people get home jobs done right. Conversations about that happen every day across social media, reviews and forums. Your job is to stay close to those conversations, understanding how people feel about the brand, responding when they need help, and surfacing insights that help us improve. You’ll help protect and strengthen the Checkatrade brand by making sure our responses are thoughtful, human and consistent. At the same time, you’ll turn what people are saying into clear insights the wider team can act on.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor conversations about Checkatrade across social media, review platforms and the wider internet.
  • Track what people are saying, spot emerging themes and flag issues early.
  • Manage community engagement across our social channels.
  • Respond to comments and DMs in a way that is helpful, human and aligned with our brand tone.
  • Monitor and respond to reviews across platforms such as Trustpilot and the App Store, working with internal teams where issues need escalation.
  • Use social listening tools to track brand mentions, sentiment and key themes across consumer conversations.
  • Identify trends in feedback.
  • Surface recurring issues, opportunities or product insights and share them with the wider team.
  • Create regular reports summarising consumer sentiment, review performance and key conversation trends.

What you’ll need

  • Strong written communication. You can respond clearly, calmly and empathetically, even when conversations are challenging.
  • Good judgement. You know when to reply, when to escalate and when something needs wider attention.
  • Attention to detail. You notice patterns in feedback and can pick out the signals from the noise.
  • Platform awareness. You understand how conversations play out across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, review platforms and forums.
  • Analytical mindset. Comfortable reviewing data from social listening tools and turning it into clear insights.
  • Organisation and consistency. Able to stay on top of daily monitoring while keeping track of bigger trends over time.
  • Collaborative mindset. Comfortable working with customer support, product and marketing teams to share insights and resolve issues.
