ABOUT THE JOB
As the Social Media Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of VIEVE’s social media presence. You will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving engagement, and growing audiences across all key platforms. This role is central to shaping how the brand shows up online – translating business and marketing objectives into compelling social-first content and conversations. You are a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of platform culture, trends, and analytics. You know how to craft content that resonates, how to grow and nurture audiences, and how to turn followers into loyal brand advocates. You’ll blend creativity with performance insight to deliver impactful results across our social channels.
Reporting to the Senior Community & Social Manager, the Social Media Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure that social efforts are fully integrated into broader brand and commercial goals, including with the wider Marketing team, E-commerce, Creative, Commercial, Customer Service, and Blanket PR to achieve company objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own platform expertise for our key channels – identifying emerging trends, formats, and behaviours to shape VIEVE’s social approach.
- Monitor cultural moments, creator trends, and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable content ideas and posting opportunities.
- Implement the strategic channel priorities, content pillars, and posting cadence to ensure each platform is used in the most effective, native way.
- Present to senior stakeholders and the Founder to ensure social buy-in on campaign channel plans, and when piloting new formats and content ideas.
- Partner closely with our Paid team to shape impactful briefs, align on key messaging and commercial priorities, while synergising paid and organic social to strengthen performance and outcomes.
- Test and learn as formats and features evolve, scaling what works and iterating based on performance.
- Use social listening and analytics to understand audience needs, sentiment, and interests, ensuring VIEVE remains relevant and audience-first.
- Partner with our Community Executive to identify creator-led moments and opportunities for UGC and collaborations.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT & POSTING
- Own the day-to-day scheduling, publishing, and management of all VIEVE social channels, ensuring content goes live accurately, on time, and to platform best practice.
- Lead content planning and creation, working with Marketing and Creative teams to deliver engaging social-first assets for BAU, campaigns, launches, events, and more.
- Manage post briefing within ClickUp for our Content Creator and Copywriter to ensure assets and captions reflect key content objectives.
- Manage and maintain social content calendars, coordinating delivery in line with wider marketing plans and key brand moments.
- Upload content and optimise posts using relevant tags, links, audio, etc. to maximise reach and engagement.
- Integrate and post UGC in partnership with the Community Executive to drive authenticity, discoverability, and conversion.
- Track performance of published content, adjusting posting cadence, formats, and messaging based on real-time insights.
- Ensure all content schedules are accurately reflected in ClickUp for full cross-team visibility and approvals.
PERFORMANCE & OPTIMISATION
- Take accountability for social OKRs tied to engagement, reach, views, audience growth, and commercial impact.
- Track and analyse KPIs across platforms, providing regular reporting and actionable recommendations to the wider business.
- Optimise posting strategy based on insights – i.e. best times, formats, content mix, and audience response.
- Feed learnings and insights back into briefs for Creative and wider marketing planning.
- Act as a role model as a manager, representing VIEVE’s values, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
