ABOUT THE JOB

The Finance Assistant (AR & AP) plays a key role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. Supporting the Management Accountant and Finance Director, you'll help ensure the smooth, effective delivery of day-to-day finance operations — from month-end close and supplier invoice processing to weekly cashflow reporting. We're looking for someone collaborative and a strong team player, who works well with colleagues across the business as well as with suppliers and customers. This role will report into the Management Accountant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer and supplier invoices, ensuring correct GL & VAT coding
  • Responding to queries from the business, suppliers, and customers
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and liaise with suppliers and customers
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Ownership of the employee expenses process
  • Managing the Accounts inbox
  • Regular statement reconciliation of all suppliers & customers, resolving any queries
  • Support month-end close with reports and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Take ownership of the weekly payment run for submission and approval
  • Contribute to process improvement and system efficiency initiatives
  • Other ad hoc tasks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency
  • NetSuite experience is preferred but not essential
  • Be excited about joining a fast-paced and challenging environment
