ABOUT THE JOB

As part of the Finance team, you will be a pivotal member of the success of our rapidly growing business.

The AP & AR Specialist will be a key role ensuring that we are able to run the business smoothly and efficiently. The purpose of this role is to provide a first‑class AP / AR service to the business, our suppliers, and our customers.

This role will report into the Management Accountant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for:

• Processing customer and supplier invoices, ensuring correct GL & VAT coding
• Responding to queries from the internal teams plus suppliers and customers
• Resolving payment discrepancies and liaising with suppliers and customers
• Weekly bank reconciliations
• Ownership of the employee expenses process
• Managing the Accounts inbox
• Regular statement reconciliation of all suppliers & customers, resolving any queries
• Supporting month‑end close with reports and balance sheet reconciliations
• Taking ownership of the weekly payment run for submission and approval
• Contributing to process improvement and system efficiency initiatives.
• Other ad hoc tasks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency.
• Solution driven attitude with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
• NetSuite experience is preferred but not essential.
• Being excited about joining a fast‑paced and challenging environment.
• Willingness to learn and figure things out, asking great questions, and being open to coaching.
