Role Overview
In this role, you will manage and develop the Pre‑Sales team, ensuring it becomes a central and trusted point of contact across the business. You will oversee day‑to‑day customer service activities, supporting the resolution of customer queries, service or billing enquiries, and ensuring accurate handling of customer information and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Pre‑Sales team to deliver outstanding customer support
- Develop apprentices within the team and support their professional growth
- Oversee team skills development and coordinate training initiatives
- Manage government schemes, including the MCS umbrella and other relevant programmes
- Support the introduction of new equipment into the product portfolio
- Assist in the design and sale of equipment for both small and large‑scale projects
- Provide support across domestic and commercial heating product lines
- Ensure accurate handling of customer data, billing information, and product specifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in customer service and/or pre‑sales support
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work with structured processes while maintaining a customer‑centric approach
- Interest or experience in heating, technical products, or related sectors (desirable)
Minimum Requirements
- IT skills
- People skills
- Time‑management skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of government schemes (an advantage, but full training will be given)
- Understanding of ASHPs (an advantage, but full training will be given)
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between £38,726.00 and £77,219.00, depending on skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
