The Position
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Criminal Law Trainee Paralegal at Vienna Kang Advocates, located on Birmingham Business Park in Birmingham. The Trainee Paralegal shall be responsible for assisting with the preparation of legal documents, conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and supporting communication with clients and colleagues. The role also includes attending Court sessions, managing case files, and providing general administrative support.
Qualifications
- Possess knowledge and understanding of Law
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
- Strong Communication and Research skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a legal setting is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field preferred
Requirements
The nature of criminal defence requires considerable mental dexterity. It regularly involves working unsociable hours: evening and weekends to balance competing demands. Accordingly, this role requires an individual who is entirely committed and dedicated to criminal defence, takes pride in their work and is passionate about what they do and the results that they achieve. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in Criminal Law.
