The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.
This role is to lead delivery of Vidett’s marketing strategy for pensions and employee benefit trust services, ensuring integration with sales activity to deliver agreed targets in support of Vidett’s growth plan. The role involves leadership and oversight but also requires hands-on delivery of a range of marketing activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Help develop and be responsible for delivery of the marketing strategy in support of Vidett’s business plan across all core pension and employee benefit trust services (trusteeship and pensions governance) and routes to market.
- Work closely with BD, product and service line leads to ensure marketing activity is integrated and aligned with the sales plan for product/service lines across the business and messages for each are clear, agreed and understood.
- Plan, execute and report progress on marketing activities to CMO and Vidett Senior Leadership and Board to ensure they are provided with relevant and timely information.
- Act as role model within the marketing team, be a positive influence and share ideas and experience, particularly across digital marketing including video.
- Ensure the multi-channel marketing and PR strategy and delivery plan are aligned as far as possible to deliver sales leads from direct prospects and support referrals from introducers.
- Lead and improve the use of platforms (including our website, HubSpot and LinkedIn) and the data collected via them to capture new leads and valuable insights to support sales.
- Work closely with CMO and CCO to ensure articulation of Vidett’s brand, image, core service offerings and messaging is consistent across all marketing material, both internally and externally.
- Act as ambassador for the business internally and externally, demonstrating sound pensions knowledge, attending industry events and conferences.
- Help co-ordinate and coach Vidett speakers for industry and our own events.
- Work alongside BD colleagues to coach the internal team on Vidett business, service and product messaging as needed.
- Maintain costs within budget and ensure all spend achieves the best return or impact as possible.
- Assist in the management of the marketing team helping them to deliver marketing teams objectives.
- Coach and develop more junior members of the marketing team to increase their knowledge, skills and capability.
- Support the BD team by engaging with the tender response process to ensure proposals, tenders, presentation, placemats etc consistently and effectively present Vidett’s brand, services and messaging.
- Increase new business conversion rates by sharing expertise in proposal and pitch preparation.
- Ensure Vidett’s CRM database is used effectively to support and deliver marketing activities and related management information.
