Based in the warehouse and working with the office, this is a key role at TCS/Autoscript with overall responsibility for the hire equipment leaving from and returning to the Sunbury-on-Thames site.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Using rental software, prepare, scan and final check kit prior to delivery by TCS drivers or collection by customers
  • Ensuring that paperwork is signed and correct
  • Assisting with loading and/or delivery to customers where necessary
  • Receiving equipment back from jobs, scanning and cross-checking delivery sheets, noting visual damage and missing items, report to office
  • Initial checking and cleaning of equipment returned from rental jobs, including identifying and labelling damaged kit for the team
  • Liaising with the team to ensure that equipment for future jobs is being processed
  • Checking barcodes are present and undamaged on equipment. Making sure kit and flight cases are marked with company identification, engraved where necessary and neatly presented
  • Liaising with the hire office to add new rental stock and assist with disposal of redundant kit
  • PAT testing of kit when required
  • Promoting good health and safety practice in the warehouse

What We’re Looking For:

  • Good practical knowledge of camera support equipment
  • Understanding of customer service and the need to provide equipment prepared to a high standard
  • Logical, analytical approach to problem solving
  • Flexible attitude to deal with variable workload and ability to work unsupervised with good time management
  • Competent with regular IT systems and ideally a hire system software
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK Driving License

Nice to Have:

  • Some electrical knowledge
  • Industry knowledge

Education and Qualifications:

  • GCSE English and Maths – Grade C or above
