PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Perform all Warehouse loading and unloading activities related to the distribution and storage of products, always considering the aspects of safety and environmental protection, quality/quantity control and efficient operation of all equipment.
- Perform the role in accordance with the quality, safety and environmental policies and the strategic objectives of the company, ensuring the conformity of the products offered to the customer and avoiding damage to the environment.
- Comply with the quality and environmental management system and with the procedures established in the manual.
- Perform all activities related to internal forklift movements, considering safety and environmental protection, quality/quantity control and efficient operation of all equipment.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Compulsory secondary education
- Fire marshal course (Desirable but not essential)
- Compliance with hygiene and safety standards required by the company
- Punctuality
- Flexibility
- Basic computer skills
- Counterbalance forklift truck driving license
- Reach forklift truck driving license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out loading and unloading of lorries, acting alone or in a team, maintaining continuity of operations in terms of quality, safety and environmental protection, without spillage.
- Handling, packing and packaging when necessary.
- Respect safety rules, integrating fire defence and equipment inspection schemes, participate in all safety activities and inform the person in charge of any dangerous acts and safety conditions detected.
- Load and unload container trucks.
- Place the goods in their storage area.
- Stock management and stock control.
- Participate in the cleaning and conservation of the areas and equipment linked to the exercise of their activity.
- Ensure the implementation of practices to minimise the consumption of natural resources such as energy consumption and waste production. Correctly handle the waste generated in the performance of the function.
- Be an active agent in the implementation and continuous improvement of the management system, participating in initiatives such as training courses, corporate events, and actively supporting internal and external audits.
