About the Role

We are hiring a Supply Chain Specialist to strengthen our operational capability across the UK and Europe as we expand MCoBeauty across the region. This role will support the Head of Supply Chain & Operations in delivering day-to-day supply chain operations, including demand planning, supply planning, logistics, inventory, and order management. As a hands-on specialist you will build and improve processes, reporting tools, dashboards, work instructions and SOPs, monitor performance, investigate failures, and lead continuous improvements across service levels, availability, inventory, logistics and cost-to-serve.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for operational queries across demand planning, supply planning, logistics, inventory and order management.
  • Support the resolution of operational issues and escalating significant service or financial risks where required.
  • Lead regular operational and performance meetings with our third-party logistics partner, Mainfreight.
  • Track agreed actions and ensure operational issues are followed through to resolution.
  • Support retailer launches, new product introductions, promotional activity, peak planning and new account go-lives.
  • Support the Supply Chain operating rhythm, including S&OP inputs, performance reviews and cross-functional planning.
  • Provide operational cover across demand planning, supply planning, logistics and order management during periods of absence.
  • Develop, improve and embed supply chain processes, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Build and maintain planning tools, trackers, dashboards, KPI reports and performance updates.
  • Monitor key measures including service level, fill rate, out-of-stocks, inventory health and cost-to-serve.
  • Lead root-cause analysis into service failures and coordinate corrective and preventative actions.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements across planning, inventory, logistics and customer service.
  • Track the impact of improvement initiatives and report progress to the Head of Supply Chain & Operations.
  • Act as the Supply Chain representative in relevant system implementations and enhancements, including ERP, EDI and warehouse management integrations.
  • Represent Supply Chain in customer, retailer, commercial and quarterly business review meetings when required.
  • Prepare and present supply chain performance, risks, mitigation plans and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with commercial teams on product availability, service, delivery and retailer requirements.
  • Build positive working relationships with key retail customers across the UK and Europe.
  • Support demand and supply planning through scenario analysis, risk assessment and operational recommendations.
  • Proactively identify potential supply disruptions and coordinate mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • At least three years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, planning or operations within beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, consumer goods or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, supply planning, inventory, order management, distribution and logistics.
  • Experience developing and improving processes, SOPs, work instructions and operational tools.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience building trackers, reporting tools, dashboards and performance analysis.
  • Experience with business intelligence or dashboarding tools is advantageous.
  • Confident leading operational meetings with third-party logistics, warehouse, transport or distribution partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and performance insights into practical actions.
  • Experience monitoring service levels, fill rates, availability, inventory health and operational performance.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident communicating with commercial teams, customers, retailers and external partners.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of EDI and warehouse management system environments is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting retailer launches, new product introductions or new customer go-lives is beneficial.
  • Experience working across UK and European markets is advantageous.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline is beneficial.
  • Hands-on, proactive and comfortable taking personal ownership of operational challenges.
  • Highly organised and structured with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, eCommerce and IT teams.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing and continually evolving business.
  • Passion for beauty, consumer products and building brands in new markets.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a Dutch or German speaker would be advantageous.
