Working closely with the Planning and Supply Manager and our Global Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in ensuring the right products are available in the right place at the right time, while helping to minimise excess inventory and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a natural problem-solver who enjoys working with data, identifying opportunities for improvement and turning analysis into practical recommendations. You will thrive in a fast-paced, growing business, bringing strong Excel skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
Supply & Replenishment Planning
- Analyse stock levels, sales trends, demand forecasts and lead times to identify replenishment requirements across UK and European markets.
- Develop and maintain replenishment models and trackers using NetSuite, Excel and relevant digital tools.
- Monitor stock cover and safety stock levels, recommending adjustments to maintain product availability while minimising excess inventory.
- Prepare data-driven replenishment recommendations for review by local and Global Supply Chain teams.
- Support stock planning for new product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns and customer requirements.
- Identify potential supply constraints and recommend practical solutions to minimise disruption.
Inventory Management & Stock Control
- Monitor inventory performance, including stock availability, out-of-stock risks, excess inventory and slow-moving products.
- Work with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities to improve stock efficiency and manage ageing or discontinued products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies between NetSuite, planning trackers and purchase orders.
- Monitor incoming deliveries, stock movements and warehouse inventory to identify potential delays or availability issues.
- Support effective stock allocation across UK and European warehouses and sales channels.
Reporting, Analysis & KPI Management
- Build, maintain and improve Excel-based reporting tools, dashboards and inventory performance trackers.
- Monitor key supply chain KPIs, including stock cover, stock availability, replenishment performance and excess inventory.
- Analyse historical sales, demand trends and supply performance to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
- Produce clear reports and presentations, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Leverage AI and digital tools to improve reporting accuracy, automate processes and increase efficiency.
Supply Chain Coordination & Risk Management
- Work closely with Global Supply Chain, Logistics and Customer/Order Management teams to coordinate stock movements and replenishment activities.
- Monitor inbound shipments, warehouse transfers and delivery schedules, escalating potential issues where required.
- Identify supply and inventory risks, recommending appropriate actions to protect stock availability and customer service levels.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by reviewing demand forecasts, supply constraints and inventory requirements.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure supply plans support business priorities.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory planning, reporting and supply chain processes.
- Improve existing spreadsheets, trackers and dashboards to increase accuracy, visibility and efficiency.
- Explore opportunities to use automation, AI and digital tools to support smarter planning and decision-making.
- Document key processes and contribute to the development of consistent ways of working across the European business.
Skills & Experience
- Typically 3β4 years' experience in supply planning, inventory management, replenishment or a similar supply chain role.
- Experience working in FMCG, beauty, retail, consumer goods or eCommerce environments would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis and building reporting dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles, including stock cover, safety stock, lead times and replenishment planning.
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems; NetSuite experience would be advantageous.
- Experience building reports, KPI dashboards and planning tools from scratch.
- Confidence using AI and digital tools to improve analysis, reporting and productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when managing inventory data and reporting.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to work across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and Marketing teams.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers, warehouses or international supply operations would be advantageous.
- Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes would be beneficial.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to take initiative and work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business where priorities can change quickly.
