About the role: VidaCorp is seeking a Finance Director UK & Europe to provide senior financial leadership across our European operations as MCoBeauty and the wider VidaCorp portfolio continue to expand. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for shaping regional financial strategy, strengthening governance and controls, and enabling commercial decision‑making across multiple markets, brands, and channels. You will partner closely with the Executive GM, Europe and Group Finance, balancing hands‑on oversight with strategic leadership in a scaling environment. A key element of the role is pan‑European statutory reporting and tax leadership — ensuring robust compliance across jurisdictions while building a scalable finance operating model to support rapid growth, new market entry, and evolving business complexity. The role can be based in London or Amsterdam with occasional travel across European markets.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial strategy, long‑range planning, and performance management for the UK & European region.
- Act as a senior business partner to the Executive GM, Europe and regional leadership team.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting cadence, and financial governance across markets.
- Deliver commercial insight on revenue, margin, working capital, ROI, and investment trade‑offs.
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management across the region.
- Lead pan‑European statutory reporting, audits, and local regulatory requirements across multiple entities.
- Own regional oversight of tax compliance and governance (including VAT and local tax considerations), partnering with external advisors as required.
- Support market entry and scale‑up activity (new entities, new channels, new operating models), ensuring finance capability keeps pace with growth.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation across inventory, receivables, and payables.
- Lead and develop the European finance team; build scalable processes, systems, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance operations, including ERP‑enabled reporting and automation.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and eCommerce to enable execution against plan.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven senior finance leadership experience in FMCG, beauty, retail, or consumer goods.
- Demonstrated experience operating across multiple European markets and managing regional complexity.
- Strong background in pan‑European statutory reporting and audit management across jurisdictions.
- Solid working knowledge of tax governance and compliance across Europe (VAT, local tax requirements, external advisor management).
- Experience supporting or leading finance set‑up for new markets / scaling businesses across Europe.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability, with clear ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred).
- Strong leadership, judgement, and ability to operate in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
