Vida Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Secondary Design Technology / DT Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school from September 2026 until the Christmas break. This is a full-time position (5 days per week), teaching Design Technology (DT) across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some additional ART lessons as required. The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students, encourage creativity and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
The Role
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- September 2026 start until the Christmas break
- Teaching mainly Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Some ART lessons included within the timetable
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contributing to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
