We're looking for a Social & Creative Lead to own how VDP shows up across our digital channels. This is a hybrid role combining creative direction, content creation, and social growth. You'll lead the planning and manage the execution of everything that goes out across our social content pillars, while staying hands-on in creating content that drives engagement and builds community. You'll help shape the look and feel of the brand, working closely with our in-house videographer and team to turn everyday moments — matches, events, people, atmosphere — into content that captures the VDP lifestyle. This is a role for someone who doesn't just plan content, but creates it, tests it, and grows it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creative Direction
    • Define and evolve VDP's visual identity across social platforms
    • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand feel across all content
    • Translate the VDP lifestyle (sport, social, culture) into a cohesive creative output
  • Social Strategy & Growth
    • Own Instagram and TikTok delivery and performance
    • Develop content pillars and campaign ideas
    • Stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform behaviour, drive and deliver engagement
    • Continuously test, learn, and optimise for engagement and growth
  • Content Creation (Hands-On)
    • Plan, create, and publish engaging content (reels, posts, stories, carousels)
    • Work with the videographer to brief, shape, and refine video content
    • Create and edit short-form video content
    • Design simple graphics and social assets
  • Community & Engagement
    • Manage comments, DMs, and audience interaction
    • Build a strong, engaged community around the brand
    • Spot and amplify user-generated content and community moments
  • Performance & Insights
    • Track and analyse key metrics (engagement, reach, growth)
    • Use insights to inform content and strategy decisions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years' experience in social media, content, or brand roles
  • Proven experience growing and managing social media accounts
  • A natural storyteller who can engage an audience through words, image and sound
  • Strong creative eye and understanding of brand aesthetics
  • Hands-on experience creating and editing content (especially short-form video)
  • Deep understanding of what drives engagement on Instagram and TikTok
  • All in on social — genuinely curious about what makes people tick, and always across the latest trends, formats and platform developments
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Self-starter mindset — proactive, ideas-led, and execution-focused

SALARY & GROWTH

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 (depending on experience). You’ll play a key role in shaping how VDP shows up as we scale from 6 to 20+ venues in the coming 9 months, a clothing and accessories line as well as international expansion, there is a clear progression into a leadership role as the team grows.
