Our client, an international trust firm, is looking for a Trust Professional to join their growing UK team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and client service for a portfolio of trusts and entities, acting as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders. It also involves supporting both UK and international teams on various projects. Reporting to a UK fiduciary director, this position is part of a newly established team focused on both domestic and international fiduciary matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer a portfolio of trusts and entities, ensuring excellent client service.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting (e.g., Trust Registration Service, Companies House).
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and assist with financial reporting and account reviews.
- Monitor and manage client bank accounts, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and directors to fulfil instructions.
- Support trust formations, legal entity incorporations, and investment oversight.
- Track and meet tax-related deadlines and financial targets.
- Prepare client fee invoices and monitor work progress through project tracking.
About You
- Strong knowledge of trusts, fiduciary obligations, governance, and corporate secretarial duties.
- Understanding of UK tax obligations and willingness to develop tax expertise.
- STEP Diploma or equivalent (or working towards it), potentially with an accounting qualification.
