Role Overview
As Trust Manager - Trust and Company Administration, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of a complex portfolio of private client trust and corporate structures. Working closely with senior members of the team, you will ensure high standards of service, compliance, and governance are maintained, while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer a varied portfolio of trust and company structures, including discretionary trusts, underlying companies, and foundations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all structures, including due diligence and statutory documentation.
- Liaise directly with UHNW family members, advisors, legal counsel, investment managers, and banks.
- Draft trustee and board minutes, resolutions, and correspondence.
- Coordinate transactions such as property acquisitions, investments, distributions, and incorporations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and liaise with accounting teams and external auditors as required.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory obligations (e.g., GFSC requirements, FATCA/CRS) and internal risk controls.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and digital tools within the administration function.
- Mentor and review the work of junior staff, helping to build team capability and knowledge.
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately to senior management.
