Our client, an independent Jersey trust company, is seeking a Senior Tax Administrator to support the administration and reporting teams with tax compliance and related matters, focusing on UK and Jersey tax implications. This includes completing and submitting tax returns for individual clients.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing Jersey personal, company, and trust tax returns and computations.
- Drafting UK personal, corporation tax, trust, CGT, and ATED returns and computations.
- Assisting with the preparation of FATCA and CRS reporting, entity classification, and completion of W-8BEN forms (or equivalents).
- Communicating with clients and the tax authorities in Jersey and the UK regarding tax returns, information collection, assessment review (including appeals when necessary), and advising on payments.
- Providing timely tax payment advice to administration teams and assisting with any tax-related queries.
- Raising invoices and sending them to clients for payment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or tax role.
- Working towards, or holding, a recognised tax or accountancy qualification.
