Job Description A Family Office with interests across the creative industries, property, and philanthropic activities is seeking a highly commercial and operationally focused Chief of Staff. Reporting directly to the principals, this individual will play a central role in overseeing day-to-day business operations, financial management, people leadership, legal matters, and strategic projects across a diverse portfolio of businesses and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing robust financial controls, improving efficiencies, and fostering a culture of accountability. Lead budgeting, financial oversight, spend control, and management reporting across multiple entities and assets. Oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy development. Provide leadership across operational teams, commercial sites, and private estate functions. Manage legal and commercial matters, including contract negotiation, compliance, company administration, and external advisers. Oversee property acquisitions, refurbishment projects, lettings, and ongoing asset management activities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a senior operational leadership role such as Chief of Staff, Operations Director, or a similar broad-based business management position. They will possess strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, people leadership skills, and the ability to manage a diverse range of priorities simultaneously.
