A well-established fiduciary and corporate services provider is seeking a Head of Risk and Compliance to lead its Jersey compliance function.
This is a senior leadership role with direct Board exposure, responsibility for the compliance framework, and oversight of risk, governance and regulatory matters across a regulated financial services environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead the Risk & Compliance function, provide strategic regulatory guidance to senior stakeholders and help ensure the business continues to meet its regulatory obligations and best practice standards.
Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Money Laundering Compliance Officer and Compliance Officer ("Key Person").
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Jersey Risk & Compliance function
- Act as a key contact with regulators and external authorities
- Oversee compliance monitoring, policies and procedures
- Provide risk and regulatory guidance to the Board and senior management
- Support AML/CFT and financial crime frameworks
- Prepare Board and committee reporting
- Lead and develop the Compliance team
- Drive a strong compliance culture across the business
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a senior Risk and Compliance position
- Strong knowledge of Jersey regulatory requirements
- Experience within fiduciary, trust, corporate services or fund environments
- Previous management and leadership experience
- Ability to engage confidently with Boards and senior stakeholders
