A leading professional services firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join its UK Corporate Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional to take ownership of a high-value client portfolio and play a key role in shaping the department’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior and part-qualified staff, overseeing performance management, appraisals, and development.
- Take full ownership of tax compliance processes, including review of complex corporate tax computations and returns.
- Contribute to advisory projects, including R&D tax relief, CIR, share schemes, and international tax matters such as transfer pricing and withholding tax.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support departmental growth and commercial performance.
Knowledge & Experience
- Professionally qualified (ICAEW, ACCA or CTA).
- Strong UK corporate tax experience, ideally with exposure to complex compliance and advisory work.
- Confident managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused solutions.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- International tax exposure is desirable but not essential.
