We are looking for a Project Management Apprentice to join our Project Management team. With big ambitions for the future, there has never been a better time to join Victrex! The Role
As a Project Management Apprentice, you will gain a combination of virtual classroom and on-the-job learning, playing a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a wide range of business and innovation projects. From day one, you will be immersed in real project environments, working closely with experienced Project Managers and project Sponsors to understand project strategy, identify risks and issues, and help ensure delivery to agreed cost, quality, and time targets.
In the early stages of the apprenticeship, you will focus on building core project management capabilities by:
- Consistently applying your learning to your role at Victrex
- Creating high-level project plans
- Maintaining project documentation
- Supporting effective communication across project teams
As you grow in confidence and capability, you will take on increasing responsibility:
- Shadowing Project Managers to understand delivery best practice
- Supporting project delivery and managing defined project workstreams
- Leading clearly scoped internal projects with appropriate supervision
- Progressing to independently managing and delivering your own projects, applying the full project management lifecycle
This is a structured 48-month programme designed to help you develop into a fully capable Project Manager. Throughout, you will work towards gaining a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Project Management, supported by hands-on experience, mentorship, and formal training.
Successful applicants will join our 2026 Apprenticeship Intake in September, becoming part of a future talent pipeline with real opportunities for long-term progression and impact.
About You
To be eligible for this programme, we need you to have 3 A-levels at grade 4/C or the vocational equivalent. We are also looking for the following skills and personal qualities:
