Overview
The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a successful charity which provides membership services to serving & retired members of the UK Armed Forces, NATO, Commonwealth, and their families. The Club, which is close to Marble Arch, has 200 bedrooms, extensive dining facilities, and seven Event Rooms which are available for Club members. Our Event Rooms are hired to generate revenue for the charity. The Club operates a number of schemes to provide free breaks for serving members of the Armed Forces.
The Role
A Banqueting Assistant assists with the smooth running of the F&B department which boasts 7 Conference Rooms, a coffee bar, a lounge bar, a brasserie restaurant as well as a formal dining restaurant. The position is critical in delivering exceptional service to our guests, driving forward the sales and ensuring that the set procedures are always adhered to. We have roles available across all aspects of the food and beverage department from servicing the meeting rooms, to working in the bar or restaurant.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role; however this is not essential. You must be naturally committed to ensuring that the guest’s expectation is always exceeded. Professionalism & integrity are required from the successful candidate. Attention to detail is also critical. This role is suited to a person of a warm and friendly nature.
