Victory Services Club is a tri-Service, all ranks, private military members Club for currently serving and retired members of the UK Armed Forces and allies. The Club is a registered charity and has two charitable objectives: to provide a place for serving and ex-serving personnel to meet; and to support serving or ex-serving personnel who face hardship or distress, including those wounded as a result of operational service. Respite and Welfare Breaks are provided by the Club which is just one element of our wider activity in support of the second charitable objective

Role Description:

We are looking for a proactive forward thinking ambitious Breakfast Chef & Kitchen manager who will perform consistently in line with the companys standards.

You will be responsible to do Breakfast shifts and also Kitchen manager duties.

This role is split into two duties: You will be responsible to cook Breakfast for our Members and also manage the day to day management of 2 kitchen areas, including placing food orders with suppliers, taking deliveries storing and accounting for food stock correctly, managing the kitchen food safety and Health & Safety systems, organising and managing a team of up to 10 kitchen porters and formulating menu production sheets/allergens as well as a number of ad hoc kitchen administrative duties.

Your normal hours of work will be 6:30am until 3pm

Saturday/Sunday/Monday Breakfast shifts

&

Tuesday/Wednesday you will cover Kitchen Manager duties

Required Experience:

Experience in the hospitality sector at a supervisory level with excellent IT skills.

Experience in doing breakfast and a good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene is required.

The ability to work alone or as part of a team under pressure is essential.
