FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY AND CATERING EQUIPMENT in Hounslow

Overview

Our client, a company established in the 1970s, has become one of the UK’s leading distributors & service providers of commercial laundry equipment and are now expanding our service team. They supply, service and maintain commercial laundry & catering equipment, chemical auto dosing systems and Ozone laundry technology to a variety of market segments.

Based from our office in North West London, you will play a vital role as one of the key field service technicians delivering high quality service to our diverse customer base. You will be required to diagnose, repair, recondition and install commercial laundry and catering equipment in and around London & the South East. Domestic / commercial laundry equipment service and gas or electrical qualifications preferred.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Mon-Fri: 9-6
• Potential to include weekend work within the next 6 months, but initially a 5-day week
• Van, Uniform, Laptop/Phone, Pension
• Commission structure will be discussed in the interview

Responsibilities

• Attending to service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults
• Reporting machine & install conditions and recommendations
• Checking & commissioning installations of laundry equipment
• Carrying out basic installations of laundry equipment
• Preparing ex-rental and testing equipment ready to be supplied
• Routine maintenance visits to check equipment where required

The Role Details

2-3 years average of commercial experience. Looking for someone who is looking for a progression from their first role.

• Gas Safe
• Mechanical & electrical experience
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Good English written and verbal
• Personable and professional
• Ability to work under own initiative and strong time management
• Domestic / commercial laundry equipment service and gas or electrical qualifications (preferred)
