The Role: Making a Splash

This isn’t just about keeping the lights on. As our Facilities Manager, you’ll be the custodian of our physical workspace, ensuring our warehouses are safe, efficient, and fully compliant. Based primarily at our Leyland site, with periodic visits to oversee our Skelmersdale operations, you’ll ensure our facilities are as polished as a high-end mixer tap.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Flow: Head up a multi-disciplinary team, providing the direction and development needed to foster a culture of excellence.
• Financial Precision: Manage budgets and resources with a steady hand to ensure maximum value without quality slip.
• Watertight Compliance: Implement robust internal controls and H&S measures, ensuring we meet all regulations.
• Contractor Coordination: Proactively manage service providers, maintaining high standards and ensuring partners deliver consistently.
• Continuous Improvement: Refresh the status quo by developing strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs across all sites.

• Problem Solving: Stay calm under pressure and find the root cause quickly.
• Logistics Experience: Preferably have worked in a warehouse environment with experience in CAFM systems.
• Mobile & Flexible: Happy to be based in Leyland with flexibility to travel to Skelmersdale as needed.
