Are you a training BOSS with a passion for getting people up to speed? At Victorian Plumbing, we\’re not just about taps and tiles. We\’re about delivering the dream bathroom to every door in the UK, and to do that, we need the very best team. We\’re on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Trainer to join our team based in Leyland. This isn\’t your average training gig. We\’ve invested heavily in our logistics, and with our new semi-automated distribution centre, we\’re ready to get even better. We need someone who can \\\”Boss their Bathroom\\\” and help our team to \\\”Boss\\\” their MHE operations with confidence and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering top-notch training sessions on a range of MHE, from forklifts to pallet trucks.
  • Getting people qualified! You\’ll conduct both practical and theoretical assessments, ensuring every team member is a certified pro.
  • Keeping us safe. You\’ll be the go-to for all things MHE safety, keeping our training materials and records up to date with the latest UK regulations.
  • Leading from the front. You\’ll be a mentor and a coach, helping our team members reach their full potential and be the best they can be.
  • Working with the wider business to spot training needs and implement new initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A seasoned MHE Trainer with a recognised instructor qualification (ITSSAR, RTITB, AITT, or similar).
  • A true expert on all things MHE, with a deep understanding of PUWER and LOLER.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills, who can make training engaging and easy to understand.
  • An organised and proactive individual who can manage their workload and keep immaculate records.
  • A team player who is ready to jump in and help us maintain our high standards of safety and efficiency.
