Grasmere\’s boutique bed and breakfast hotel is a warm and welcoming home away from home for all guests wanting to be right in the heart of the Lakes. We specialise in doing the simple things beautifully, in a unique and luxurious setting.

What we are looking for:

Our General Assistant will enjoy providing outstanding customer experiences in different areas: serving breakfast, kitchen, housekeeping and reception.

We are looking for a person to join our team especially with experience in kitchen. It is a good opportunity for people who are flexible and seeking an opportunity to develop and broaden their hospitality skills. As part of our close-knit team you will be a highly valued member with the ability to develop and learn about many aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving breakfast, including food and beverage service
• Kitchen operations with food prep and cleanliness
• Cleaning and caring for guest rooms and public areas
• Welcoming guest, handling check-ins/outs

The role will be minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week spread over 5 days. Shifts will be for instance 7.30/8am-4pm. No split shifts.

There is stunning live-in accommodation located in Ambleside. We are a personality driven business and full training will be given.
