About the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, OCEO you will be tasked to drive increased income from peer-to-peer fundraising events and manage VACCA Resources shop.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies across multiple channels
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners
- Coordinate grant applications and manage reporting requirements
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns
- Collaborate with program teams to identify funding opportunities
- Prepare compelling funding proposals and donor communications
About You
- Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in community services or not-for-profit sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and donor relationship management
- Understanding of Aboriginal community priorities and cultural protocols
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience working or volunteering in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation would be highly regarded
Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
