VWA is a boutique recruitment consultancy that has been established for 36 years. We have a true family feel in our culture and approach. We largely focus on the London market, but also support hiring needs outside the UK, including business support and administrative roles, operations, marketing, HR, finance, investments and accountancy, and private PAs.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing candidates by responding to applications and actively searching on recruitment job boards.
  • Conducting telephone screening calls with potential candidates.
  • Running targeted searches and headhunting top talent.
  • Conducting competency‑based interviews with invited candidates.
  • Managing candidate relationships throughout the registration process.
  • Shortlisting candidates for client briefs and collating interview feedback.
  • Conducting market research and analysis as required.
  • Business development activities to grow and nurture client relationships.
  • Supporting weekly agency‑worker payroll administration.
  • Providing administrative support, including sending compliance documents, Microsoft Office assessments and formatting CVs.
  • Other tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a high‑end sales role is ideal, but recruitment experience is not required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using IT programmes or databases.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commercial attitude.
  • Efficient approach to work with a warm and approachable manner.
  • Natural rapport‑builder with a team‑working and commercial mindset.

Additional Details

Core hours are 9 am – 5:30 pm, with flexibility to work beyond these hours if required. The company operates a hybrid working structure (three days office‑based), but the successful candidate will be fully office‑based during onboarding.
