Purpose of the Role
Acting as the marketing team’s link to the shop floor, the Retail Liaison ensures all brands are kept up to date with centre events, initiatives and news, whilst also understanding the needs and challenges of each individual business. This role is key to the success of each marketing activity within the centre.
Role Requirements
- Centre Liaison & Representation – acting as a point of contact for all in centre brands and responding to queries, issues and requests.
- Brand Communication – liaising closely with both in centre teams and brand head offices to ensure consistent, clear communication across all stakeholders relating to both centre and citywide events.
- Brand Support – understanding the needs, challenges, and objectives of each brand, ensuring these are reflected in campaign, promotion, and event planning.
- Brand Events – Supporting and facilitating both in store and centre wide brand activations, persistently communicating requirements to ensure their participation, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with centre standards.
- Reporting & Insights – understanding performance, trends and feedback and sharing insights to inform future events and marketing support.
- Centre Community & Engagement – managing the VSQ team database (ensuring it is current) and engagement initiatives (including staff rewards, discounts, and internal communications via Mallcomm).
- Charity Partnership – leading the delivery and coordination of the annual Charity of the Year partnership.
The post holder will be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the position as directed by line management. The post holder is part of a team and must be able to work in cooperation with line management and all other centre staff. The post holder must be prepared to be flexible and proactive in their approach to the role.
This role is full time, permanent and based on site in Victoria Square.
