Are you a passionate, organised, enthusiastic individual? We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This position has been created as a replacement for an existing role and offers the chance to gain valuable experience within a supportive and collaborative environment. As the contract approaches its end date, the organisation will review its operational needs and consider whether an extension may be possible. However, any extension cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to business requirements. The Compliance Administration Coordinator provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Deputy Practice Manager Compliance and Office Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of administrative services within the Practice. The role supports the administration, reception, and secretarial teams through workflow coordination, monitoring of service targets, compliance support, staff onboarding assistance, stock control, and operational continuity during periods of increased demand or reduced staffing levels. The post holder does not hold formal line management responsibility but will provide day-to-day coordination and support across administrative functions as directed by the management team.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the Deputy Practice Manager Compliance and Office Managers with day-to-day administrative coordination.
  • Assist with staff rotas, annual leave monitoring, workload management, and identifying staffing gaps.
  • Help maintain efficient administrative processes and contribute to service improvements.
  • Support staff onboarding, inductions, training coordination, and development activities.
  • Prepare reports, audits, meeting agendas, minutes, and other governance documentation.
  • Provide reception and telephone support during periods of increased demand.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring, record keeping, and facilities management tasks.
  • Support the investigation and documentation of incidents, significant events, and learning events.
  • Contribute to staff communications, including meetings and internal updates.
  • Help implement new procedures, protocols, and administrative initiatives.
  • Assist with ordering and monitoring clinical and non-clinical stock and supplies.
  • Build positive working relationships and escalate issues appropriately to the management team.

We are a training practice for Foundation doctors and GP trainees, with 30,000 patients, 33 consulting rooms, 2 operating suites and a private suite.
