We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our Leeds store team. This is a zero-hours position with regular shifts typically available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, so consistent weekend availability is essential. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience, maintaining high visual standards, and contributing to store performance.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding, personalised customer service
- Build genuine relationships with customers and drive repeat visits
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including fabrics, fits, and styling advice
- Drive sales while maintaining a relaxed, premium in-store experience
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Process deliveries, manage stock replenishment, and maintain back-of-house organisation
- Answer phone enquiries professionally and handle day-to-day store emails
- Open and close the store independently when required
- Support the team in maintaining a positive and collaborative store culture
- Previous 1 year experience in fashion retail (essential)
- Reliable with regular weekend availability (essential)
- Confident in styling and engaging customers in meaningful conversations
- Strong understanding of menswear or contemporary fashion
- Strong communication skills — in person, over the phone, and via email
- Commercially aware and motivated by store performance
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
