We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Activities Lead to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to the lives of our residents by planning and delivering meaningful, engaging and person-centred activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a varied activities programme tailored to residents’ interests, hobbies and abilities.
- Organise group activities, entertainment, outings and one-to-one sessions.
- Produce a monthly newsletter and activities calendar showcasing recent activities and upcoming events.
- Encourage resident participation and promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff and the local community.
- Maintain accurate records and activity documentation.
- Support themed events, celebrations and fundraising activities throughout the year.
- Manage activity resources and maintain organised activity spaces.
- Working a rolling week 1/week 2 rota and alternate weekends. Hours 9.30-2.30 with 1 day a week 9.30-4 (Admin day).
