Responsibilities
- Assemble all pre-production sample packs ahead of launch deadlines - complete with fabric, labels and trims
- Responsible for shipping all sample packs and samples to UK and overseas suppliers
- Opportunity to assist pattern cutters with measuring of samples
- Assisting with seasonal production and pre-production fittings by preparing fit samples, unpacking and steaming, model dressing, note and picture taking
- Measuring the collection samples, pre-production and size set QC
- Assisting the garment techs with the QC process to understand our quality standards
- Assist garment techs with onsite factory quality control on finished goods for UK suppliers
- Sample management for Press and inter-department sample requests
- Setting up and updating the collection and PPS sample trackers
- Assist with general upkeep of technical team area
- Assist with seasonal sample, fabric archiving, and stock management
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a university student pursuing a degree in Fashion Management, Fashion Communications, or a related field.
- Availability to work at Victoria Beckham for six months
- Basic technical knowledge of fabric, patterns, fit, garment construction and manufacturing techniques.
- Flexible, resourceful and accustomed to working to tight deadlines
- Quick, eager to learn and adapt to the brand's product standard
Internships at Victoria Beckham are only open to candidates who are currently enrolled in a full-time, higher education course. If you are not currently a student, you are not eligible to apply for this position. Additionally, you must be able to commit to a minimum of six months in this position.
