The placements we offer provide a varied and tangible learning experience that can be applied to roles in the future and support the university learning experience.
Role Overview: Suited to a talented and dynamic student who is passionate about learning more about the operations of a busy Fashion Studio. An exciting opportunity to work within a function that is at the centre of the business and supports the building of both the RTW and Accessories collection from initial designs to production launch.
The Duties:
- Help Support Studio Manager in smooth running of the studio
- Assist in Vintage Rental management, including liaising with external vendors, booking appointments, tracking bought and rented vintage and making returns within a timely manner
- Assist Merchandising and Design teams during JOOR Styling and Shoot
- Assist Studio Manager in organising seasonal look-book Shoot and Paris Runway Shows in partnership with Brand Communication Team including shipping paperwork, set up, team communications, travel and hotel bookings as required
- Making sure fit room is clean and tidy and ready for meetings
- Occasional runner duties
- Ad hoc assistance where necessary to support teams
- Taking stock of stationary/snack cupboard and replenishing as necessary
- Taking lead on model bookings, castings and budget for fit models, overseen by the Studio Manager
- Helping the Studio Manager with day-to-day coordination between teams
- Admin support including raising POs, booking couriers
- Assist in organising catering for styling days in partnership with business support office.
- Support Studio Manager in tracking special projects and capsule collections from request to launch
Essential Skills:
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and people skills
- Personable and approachable
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated and remains calm under pressure
- Currently enrolled as a university student, pursuing a degree in Fashion Management, or related field.
