currently studying at university and looking to gain experience in the fashion industry. The placements we offer provide a varied and tangible learning experience that can be applied to roles in the future and support the university learning experience.
Location: 36 Dover St / Hammersmith, London
Placement: 12-month placement, with the anticipated start date of September 2025
Role Overview
As Retail Administration Intern in our flagship store, you will provide vital support to
store leadership and the wider retail operations team. You will act as a bridge between front-of-house teams and head office, ensuring seamless processes and high operational standards. The one year internship involves a blend of in-store presence and office-based work, requiring strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and an excellent eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain and update store documents, files, and databases
- Assist in stock management processes (receipts, transfers, RTVs, stock takes)
- Support scheduling, rotations, and holiday planning in alignment with payroll
- Process store expenses, invoices, petty cash, and liaise with finance
- Manage after sales service repairs liaising with the key stakeholders
Store Compliance & Standards
- Coordinate store maintenance and ensure health& safety checks are completed
- Support execution of VM guidelines and seasonal campaigns from HQ
- Maintain brand standards in both front and back-of-house areas
Communication & Liaison
- Support training administration: booking sessions, tracking completion
- Organise store meetings and prepare meeting notes when required
- Manage and maintain client appointment calendar
Team Support
- Provide operational support to Store Manager and wider leadership
- Assist with onboarding of new hires,employee documentation and induction processes
- Support recruitment administration in partnership with HR
Profile & Skills Required
- Previous experience internship in retail administration, store operations, or retail would be a plus
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with data handling, reporting and systems(Excel, workforce management software)
- Proactive and adaptable, with attention to detail
- A collaborative team player able to work both in-store and in-office settings
- Passion for retail, operations and delivering an exceptional store environment
