As a Digital Merchandising Intern with Victoria Beckham Limited, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day‑to‑day management, site trading and optimisation for the Victoria Beckham website. Under the guidance of the Merchandise Trading Manager, you will support trade and help to optimise the customer journeys with a focus on balancing commercial priorities and ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Merchandise Trading Manager with commercial analysis and reporting (Daily, weekly, seasonal, adhoc).
- Support range planning and buying/merchandising of seasonal and carryover collections.
- Support Inventory planning, stock transfers and forecasts, raising Purchase Orders working within an Open To Buy budget.
- Support department reporting on category sales, sell‑through and customer trends.
- Establish effective working relationships with in‑house production, designers and merchandising teams to ensure information for collections is on time and accurate.
- Own the product deliveries catalogue to feed into the eCommerce team and wider business.
- Work cross‑functionally with the eCommerce trading team to support cross‑sell/up‑sell products and families on PDPs (product pages).
Qualifications:
- Student undertaking a work placement.
- Interest in Digital Merchandising or Buying & Merchandising as a future career path.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the luxury fashion industry and competitor brands.
- Excellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Well‑organised with time‑management and prioritisation skills.
- Builds effective relationships.
- Commercially minded, understanding the impact of actions.
